The top ten 2005 “Gotta-have-can’t-live-without” hot wheels that made the sexiest cars alive list are the: Chevrolet Corvette, Ford’s hot new Mustang, BMW Z4, Acura NSX, Chrysler Crossfire, Honda S2000, Mazda RX8, Mercedes-Benz SLK350, Nissan 350Z, and the Porsche 911 Carrera.
Each winner is showcased in the June issue of RTM (http://www.roadandtravel.com ) with a full review on why each number sizzles and satisfies. Test driving these sassy roadsters made RTM editors salivate, and succumb to the dance of seduction, an irresistible enticement indigenous to sexy two-seaters.
Eligibility and criteria are simple: pure sex appeal. “It’s all about the look, the feel, the touch and the smell,” says RTM’s Editor-in-chief Courtney Caldwell. “Sports cars are about pure emotion and fantasy. Johnny Mowlem and his ACEMCO Motor sports teammates head into the Generac 500 at Road America race knowing the team will be tested by one of America's finest road racing venues.
The American Le Mans Series race around the 4.048-mile facility comes with only four races remaining on the 2005 schedule.
"I've won there, so I love the place," Mowlem said. "Anytime you win at a track, you feel like you can win there again."
Mowlem's victory at Road America came in 2003 when he teamed to win with Craig Stanton to take a GT class victory in a Porsche.
