While fully intending to continue to grow in this market, the company felt they were ready to take the global leap. SHANGHAI, NOVEMBER 8: European software giant SAP AG said on Tuesday China could overtake Australia as its second-biggest Asian market next year, with sales expected to grow by double the software industry rate of 13 per cent in China.
SAP counts up to 90 per cent of China's biggest companies, most of them formerly state-owned, among its clients, including oil giant CNOOC Ltd. and steel maker Baosteel Iron & Steel Co. Ltd., Klaus Zimmer, SAP's Greater China head, said in a phone interview.
