Qamea Resort and Spa appoints Continuity Travel Marketing

Fiji’s exclusive Qamea Resort and Spa has appointed Continuity Travel Marketing (CTM) as its general sales and marketing representative Australia, effective 01 July 2005.

CTM now takes full responsibility for all aspects of the resort’s sales and marketing activity in this region.

Located on Qamea Island, the twelfth largest in the Fijian archipelago, the Qamea Resort and Spa is a boutique resort catering to a maximum of 28 adults.

Each of its 14 luxuriously appointed air-conditioned beachfront bures and villas is set in lush tropical gardens.

The resort’s beachfront Guinot Spa offers an extensive menu of Fijian body therapies and French facial therapies.

The resort’s complimentary activities including incredible snorkelling, hobiecat sailing, windsurfing, sea canoeing, hiking, croquet and guided visits to local villages.

Qamea and nearby Taveuni are renowned for some of the world’s most colourful coral pastures and the resort’s recently installed, fully equipped dive facility offers everything for SCUBA enthusiasts, both novice and experienced.

Meikles Africa Limited in Zimbabwe said on Monday the tourism industry in the country was witnessing a revival, though slowly, after years of a slump. The group's finance and administration executive director, Bryan Thorn, said this was particularly the case in Victoria Falls, the nation's premier resort. He said aggressive marketing, a thaw in negative publicity about the country in key tourist source markets and improved transport had resulted in a slow revival of the tourism industry.
