Federal Minister for Tourism Dr G.G Jamal has said that it is a positive sign for the Tourism Industry that foreign investors have shown interest to invest in tourism sector.
In a statement Federal Minister for Tourism Dr G.G Jamal said that the foreign investors who have shown interests are Jaffery International Group of UK, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
The Minister stated that coming of foreign investors would not give boost to tourism industry but will also generate employment.
“International expertise will come to Pakistan and will provide better facilities to tourists", he said.

Travel spending in state hit $82.5B in 2004
Direct travel spending in California reached $82.5 billion in 2004, up 7.4 percent from the previous year, supporting more than 892,000 jobs, according to preliminary estimates released late Thursday by a state tourism group.

A firming dollar forced gold to pause for breath in Asia on Wednesday after investors bought on dips in New York and pushed it up more than $4 an ounce.
Spot gold was $445.34/445.85 an ounce by 0505 GMT, down slightly from $446.10/446.90 last quoted in the U.S. market on Tuesday.

A meeting between special representatives of the Middle East settlement quartet (Russia, the United States, the United Nations, and the European Union) is to take place in Jerusalem on August 20.
