Nepal tourism fair in UK
With the main objective of promoting Nepali goods in Europe, Friends of Britain and Nepal (FBN) is organizing Nepal Trade and Tourism Fair (NTTF) in November this year in London.
Speaking at an interaction organized today to inform about the proposed fair, Raja Ram Giri, chief co-coordinator of the NTTF, said that such an event would help Nepal to restore its image not only as popular tourist destination, but also as a venue for trade and investment.
NTTF, which will be held in November 18-19, coincides with the World Travel Market (WTM), one of the largest travel and trade fair held every year in London which is participated by over 165 countries. “London being one of the well known places for international business, trade and tourism, Nepal can benefit at the fair by presenting its diverse products and services under one umbrella,” he said.
Tek Bahadur Dangi, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) said that the fair would provide an opportunity to showcase Nepal as a whole. “It will be a milestone event to project good image of Nepal among the people in the UK,” he said.
